Anyone interested in wood turning may attend a meeting as a visitor. Visitors pay the $5 daily fee, but may only use equipment if they take out temporary membership which costs an additional $7.50 and lasts for three months.

Membership categories and charges are as follows:
Membership Fees
The membership fee is set at each AGM in consultation with members. It includes a payment for public liability & product liability cover for members participating in Northern Turners activities. In addition, members attending a Saturday meeting pay a nominal daily fee to cover venue hire. The membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June, but fees are charged at pro-rata quarterly rates for members joining on or after 1 October.
Ordinary Members
The annual fee is $30 p.a. plus $5 for each Saturday attended.
New members pay $60 for the first year, which includes Annual Membership, Joining Fee, and New Member Kit.
Family Members
Second and subsequent family members living at the same address pay an annual fee of $20 p.a. plus $5 for each Saturday attended. Such new family members pay $50 for the first year which includes their Joining Fee, Annual Membership and New Member Kit.
Dual Members
Financial Members of other clubs previously affiliated with Woodgroup SA may be Dual Members of Northern Turners and pay only $10 p.a plus $5 for each Saturday attended.
Name Badge
Plastic name badges are worn at every Northern Turners meeting. A badge is included in each new member kit.
